Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I have my property staged?

Having your property professionally staged helps it stand out from the rest. It helps define living areas, improves spatial awareness and makes it possible for potential buyers to experience an emotional connection – feeling this is somewhere they would love to live.  Studies have shown that properties that have been staged achieve a higher average sale price and sell much faster than similar properties that have not been staged.

u

What happens if my property sells before my staging period is completed?

If your property sells before the 6 week period has ended, early removal of the furniture can be arranged.  Delivery, installation, styling, de-staging and removal costs remain the same whether the property is staged for one week or six weeks so no refunds will be given on the initial 6 week fee.

u

Do you stage properties that are lived in?

As a general rule, no, however there are times when this might be possible – please check with us directly.

u

I am a private seller with a vacant property for sale. Can I stage with you?

Yes absolutely! Anyone can contact us directly regarding our home staging services whether they are a private seller or a real estate agent.

u

How long do I have the staging for?

Our staging period is for 6 weeks. This period covers a typical marketing campaign which allows time for photography, marketing production and the sales process.  If your property has not sold within this 6 week period, we are more than happy to continue to extend the rental period by mutual agreement.

Can I use my existing furniture?

Vibe Home Styling prefers an empty space to work with, however, if you have furniture in the house, we can certainly consider if it may be suitable for the look and style that we are trying to achieve to maximise your property’s appeal.

u

Who is responsible for the insurance of the staging items?

Insurance of all furniture and accessories while at the property is covered by Vibe Home Styling.
In the event of theft or damage, the client is responsible for payment of the insurance excess should there be a claim.
You are more than welcome to insure with your own insurance company if you prefer.
